At Novo Dental Studio we do not want any new or existing patient to suffer with a dental emergency and will arrange an appointment as quickly as possible so that you do not have prolonged pain and discomfort. If you have knocked out a tooth, are suffering from a painful toothache or have facial swelling, we are here to help you. 

If you suffer from a dental emergency outside of business hours the following may help until we are able to speak with you and organise an appointment

• If you have cracked or broken a tooth or restoration and it is not painful, avoid biting and eating on that side to avoid further damage

• If you are in pain, taking over the counter pain medication such as Nurofen and Panadol can help temporarily relieve dental pain.  We recommend taking Nurofen and then 3-4 hours Panadol and alternate as necessary.  Please ensure you do not exceed the daily recommendations on the packet. 

• If over the counter medication is not helping and you are still in pain, you may need to attend your local Hospital ER for stronger pain relief
